Pop Trading Company was founded in Amsterdam in 2013 by Peter Kolks and Ric van Rest, who initially distributed major skate labels before launching their own line in 2015. The brand made a notable entrance into the fashion world by showcasing at Paris Fashion Week in 2017, becoming the first skate brand to do so. Infused with a blend of skate culture and contemporary menswear, Pop Trading Company remains deeply connected to Amsterdam's skate community.
